Blakley Family: San Luis Obispo Family Photographer at the Jack House and Gardens

These family portraits were so fun to take since I captured Erin and Steve’s wedding at the Jack House and Gardens over 6 years ago and now I could capture their family ! I love that Erin picked this spot since it’s a foundational piece of their family’s story! I almost melted when I met their adorable kiddos since they are full of spunk, laughter, and silliness. I got to play hide and seek in between pictures and even told a few silly stories about a dinosaur and unicorn. It’s always a win when a photographer can finish up with everyone happy…minus a little spit up on mom’s shoulder. :)

Duffy Wedding: San Martin Wedding Photography at Clos LaChance Vineyards

Rain or shine, each wedding is truly beautiful and I love being a wedding photographer to capture all the joy and emotion of the day. JJ and Megan’s wedding might have started with me pulling up to the Clos LaChance Vineyards in San Martin with it dumping rain and hail (yes hail). But the sheer gorgeousness that unfolding in the day with clouds of rain rolling in and out periodically was spectacular. I could play with overcast lighting, a brilliant sun and even rain showers within a 30 minute period. As for JJ and Megan…all I can say is wow! They were so flexible, calm, and joyful regardless the elements! Luckily for all, the evening was spent on the outdoor patio dancing the night away in a clear night’s sky. It truly was a glorious day. Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Duffy!

Iaquinto Family: Paso Robles Family Photographer at a Local Vineyard

It’s crazy what can happen weather-wise within one hour of a family portrait session! It went from complete clouds to brilliant sunshine during the time I was with this sweet family. Luckily for me, I have know the Iaquinto Family through our kiddos’ school and it was a true privilege capturing them all together…including the newest bundle of joy who slept the entire shoot. This is a perfect example that family sessions don’t need to be stressful and can truly just freeze the time we have when everyone is all together.
