The Nichols Family {Peacock Farm}

Yesterday I had the joy of shooting some family portraits for an amazing florist in our area - Flowers To You By Jessica. Jessica is unbelievably talented and has such a fun, energetic personality. Recently her and her husband undertook another adventure in opening Peacock Farms for weddings and parties...it is a beautiful, homey venue! Needless to say, when she told me that she wanted her family portraits taken at Peacock Farms, I was thrilled. Even more exciting for me was that I got to take her new baby boy's pictures. He is beautiful and loves his big sister. Watching the laugher between this family and seeing the joy a new baby brings was a blessing to me to experience. Thanks, Jessica for the pleasure of being with your family!

Nate + Shannon's Wedding {Cypress Ridge}

Nate and Shannon's wedding was a blast and full of details. They added bits of fall and their personality to everything. The tables were decorated with splashes of orange as well as a table trivia game...which proved to be quite challenging. For the reception, Shannon surprised Nate with a groom cake shaped like a calculator and surprised the guests with a photo booth full of random hats and such. It was amazing! I had a blast watching guests decorate themselves in silly attire and have a riot taking pictures. To top it off, the guests received the photos printed as their gift when they left...what a great idea.

As for Shannon and Nate, they are the type of couple that anyone wants to be around. Nate can truly make anyone laugh...especially Shannon. It's evident that they have fun together and enjoy just "being" with one another. I love capturing that excitement between a couple since it starts to rub off on those around. Charles +Erin's Wedding {Mission and EOS Winery}

Sincerity...Charles and Erin can be summed up in my mind as such a genuine and sincere couple in how they interact together and also how they relate to with those around them. It was a blessing for me to be a part of their wedding and watch them become one.

Their wedding took place at the beautiful Mission in San Luis Obispo. Luckily for me, both Erin and Charles were willing to trot around SLO some for pictures. Charles specifically wanted to stop by Frog and Peach for some shots...a first for me but oh so fun. Their reception was at EOS Winery in Paso which was amazing for pictures. From the sunlit vines to urban concrete, I was in heaven. Blessings to this couple!
