Adam + Tianna's Sweet Family {Paso Robles}

Great cheeks and amazing eyes...this is how I would describe Adam and Tianna's little boy. Saturday's shoot with the three of them was a treat for me and very relaxing. We walked around downtown Paso Robles and took a few pit stops to get some energy out and enjoy the swings. I have to say, watching this sweet family interact with each other was a treat for me because there was a tenderness about them all...a parent's love for a child is something I hope I never get tired of capturing because it is truly priceless.

Justin + Holly's Engagements {Paso Robles}

Justin and Holly's wedding is quickly approaching next month so it was great to reconnect with them before the big day. They both have such a contagious wit to them that I found myself smiling behind the camera during much of our shoot...I can only image what their wedding will be like...especially since their reception will be held at the melodrama in Arroyo Grande! The weather flirted with rain the whole time we were together but it created for some unique lighting and skyline.

Jack + Jack {Paso Robles}

Thursday's portrait session was a joy for me to shoot. Little Jack stole my heart with his adorable smile and sweet affection for his dad...it was evident they have a special relationship. We ventured around Castoro Cellars for the shoot and found everything from unique backdrops, entertaining chickens and an awe-inspiring tractor for Jack (he loved it). I look forward to hopefully capturing Jack as he continues to grow!

Dustin + Shannon's Wedding {Santa Margarita Ranch}

I have been excited about this wedding since I met Dustin and Shannon. Knowing they were getting married at the Santa Margarita Ranch in February with a chance of rain made me thrilled from the start. The forecast predicted rain for the entire day so we packed up our umbrellas to see what was to come. Luckily for us, the rain seemed to hold off every time we stepped outside to take pictures...it was incredible! Both Shannon and Dustin were extremely flexible and had shear excitement with the thought of being married soon. After the ceremony, a vibrant rainbow filled the sky as the couple and their guests exited the Santa Margarita de Cortona Asistencia chapel. The reception was held at the adobe barn on the Santa Margarita Ranch where Monte Mills and the Lucky Horseshoe Band kept the guests dancing through the night. All in all, it was an amazing wedding and a blessing for me to be a part of...Thanks Shannon and Dustin!

Baby Soren {Paso Robles}

Is there anything sweeter than a sleeping newborn? Well...maybe the way a mother looks her newborn could compete...I find myself giddy every time I have the opportunity of capturing a newborn's first baby portraits. Hearing their precious noises and seeing their tiny features is enough to make anyone melt. This little man has to be one of the easiest babies I have meant. He would literally let us put him anywhere to capture good lighting for his pictures (I joked that he is going to be a model). Soren's mom is a dear, dear friend of mine so at one point I almost got teary eyed just seeing what an incredible mother she is to her two boys. I look forward to watching (and capturing) Soren's growth. Congratulations Hamons!

Peterson Family {Paso Robles}

Four years and counting...I have taken the Peterson's family portraits for four years now and it's been amazing! With two little boys and a baby girl on the way, their lives are anything but boring. Chris and Katie are stellar parents who enjoy laughing with (and at) their kids while still encouraging them in all they do...It's inspirational for myself to watch and learn from them all. Thanks for the friendship and Happy Birthday Chris!
