Ryan + Jessica's Engagements {Paso Robles}

Friday was an amazing time with Ryan and Jessica. We headed on some back roads in Paso to find this spot that Jessica has always wanted to take pictures at ever since she was a little girl. Yes, we might have had to jump a fence or two but it was well worth the effort. They were both a joy to be around and made my job easy.

Eric + Pyper {Avila Beach}

I couldn't have asked for a better wedding to start the 2009 season! Eric and Pyper were a blessing to be around and so willing to just "be" as we took their pictures after the wedding. The ceremony took place on the beach in Avila and the reception followed shortly after at the Sycamore Mineral Springs. Congratulations to you both!

Blake + Lindsay {Morro Bay}

Yesterday had to be one of the most windy days I have experienced in Morro Bay. Luckily before driving down to meet Blake and Lindsay for their engagement session, I grabbed my coat...poor Lindsay was a trooper in short sleeves. Nonetheless, we had a great time. Both Blake and Lindsay are effortless to be with and I found that our time flew by. We started at the Rock and then finished up next to some shops downtown. One thing I loved about this session for them is that they literally live about 50 feet from downtown so it will be fun for them to look back on their pictures in years to come to not only remember being in engaged but also to remember the amazing first apartment they had together.

The Willis Family {Willis Farm}

It's always a joy for me to capture the sweetness of my friends' families. I love knowing that the kids are comfortable with me and what makes them smile. I got to shoot some family shots of my good friends Matthew and Jocelyn with their kids. Yes, they are a beautiful family but knowing their hearts and watching them walking out their faith each day makes them even more amazing.

Jason + Chelsea {Paso Robles}

It has been so fun for me to shoot the bulk of my clients' engagements sessions in the last few months. Not only have I enjoyed getting to know them all better, but I have also loved watching how they all interact differently with one another. Sunday I shot Jason and Chelsea's engagements in Paso. They were a quiet couple around me but their tenderness towards each other was a blessing to watch...I could tell they enjoyed each others presence.

Brad + Megan {Shell Beach}

I had the joy of shooting Brad and Megan's engagements on Friday. It turned out to be a beautiful day in Shell Beach and it made me remember how blessed I am to live in the SLO County. The shoot went great and it was so fun for me to watch the two interact. Brad has a witty sense of humor that makes Megan have a constant smile on her face. Lenny, the dog, even got to jump into a few of the pictures. Let me just say that I have never had such a well trained dog in a session...he was great. Needless to say, I look forward to their wedding this summer...Thanks you two!

Craig + Tracy {Paso Robles}

Sunday was amazing! I took Craig and Tracy to one of my dear friend's property for their engagement session and it turned out better than I could have hoped for (be looking for the slideshow soon). Between the weather being perfect, the almond trees, a rustic barn and a trampoline we had plenty of options to keep our time fun and entertaining. Both Craig and Tracy were willing to do and go where ever...they are amazing. Tracy has the perfect smile and Craig knows exactly how to get it out of her. I will have to rank these engagements in my "favorite" list...I look forward to their wedding in the Fall.
