So here is the couple's wedding that I had the most amazing engagement session with...They are great! The day completely fit their personalities and it was a joy shooting it. I joked with Lacie that she should write a book on how to be the perfect bride! Look forward to shooting family shots for them in the future...Enjoy the show!

The Waltons

I have to apologize now for the heap of pictures on this post...I will explain. This wedding was Sunday, June 3rd. I basically finished my Saturday wedding, jumped in my car, and drove down to LA for this...it was worth it! Reid and Joelle have become so dear to my husband and I. We met Reid at a Young Life camp last summer where he was the guest musician for the month. Not only can the man sing, but he has a strong unabandoned love for his new wife. I found myself for the first time at a wedding stepping out of my "photographer's role" and into the friend role...needless to say, I started getting teary eyed myself when Reid got his first look at his new bride and I quickly had to switch on the professionalism. I cannot explain how much of a joy and blessing it was to shoot this wedding. Reid and Joelle have a heart for the Lord that is so evidient and they are full of life. People flocked to them. Kristen and Nathan

With June rolling in, the schedule picks up...however, I have to say that the Gelos wedding was a great way to start off the month. Kristen was one of those easy brides that you could tell loved her wedding. She was either giggling or saying something funny that made everyone else laugh...basically fun to shoot on my part. Nathan was a little more reserved but when he saw his bride-to-be for the first time, his expression was priceless. They are a great couple that loves being together...best of luck!

Wow...blue eyes!

Today I got the awesome privilege of taking the Yate's family portraits. Between the clothes changing and laughing at the kids, we had a great time! Baby Mac is amazing!...I think I found an equal match for my 2 year old boyfriend. :) It's always a joy to see a couple love and laugh their way through the first little one. Rob and Courtney are amazing parents and it's a blessing to watch and learn from them....plus they have a cutie!
