Harrison and Bennett

There are days that I long to have the energy that little boys have on a daily basis. The Orradre boys made me have that exact longing today. I had the honor of venturing out to San Ardo, CA to shoot Harrison and Bennett at their place. We trotted around the entire house until it was nap time...Needless to say, I think we both wore each other out but we had a great time. :)

King Wedding

It was my first time shooting at a King City Ranch...yes, it was in the middle of nowhere, but it was beautiful! Stefanie and Emmett had a great day that completely fit their personalities. Hope you enjoy the show.

Precious Hailey

Since the bulk of my baby portraits have been little boys lately, I was thrilled to shoot Hailey! My husband and new-dad Jimmy are both area directors with Young Life so naturally we have much in common. Jimmy and Andie are the folks that you wish were your neighbors...their sincere hearts, ease with conversations and sense of humor make us wish that Thousand Oaks, CA was much closer to Paso Robles.

So, with little girls, you naturally get all the CUTE outfits. Since I love my baby portraits to be in diapers for some shots, Andie was quick to pull out the best bloomers I have seen in a long time...The Fancy Pants. These bloomers were enough to make me want to shoot Baby Hailey's backside the whole time...but then she would give us a huge grin and I couldn't help but snap away. They are an amazing family and I cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store for this little bundle of joy! Thanks for letting me have the honor of the first (of many) photo shoot! :)

What can I say?...a beautiful day...a beautiful couple. We had a great time trotting around San Luis Obispo and remembering some of the great spots in the city. I have to admit, Bubble Gum Alley is my favorite!...yes, an alley full of gum is completely gross if you think about it, but where else but SLO would you find one?!

Maggie...soon-to-be-graduate

Friday, May 04, 2007

Wow...I loved this! Not only is Maggie beyond beautiful, she had great style.

Trying to grab the last minute senior portraits before announcements are sent out, Maggie's mom contacted me to set up a quick portrait session. Luckily for me, Maggie was up to going where ever...so we literally went to town. Hopping from Atascadero to downtown Paso Robles, we covered the north county. At first I could tell Maggie was a little apprehensive, but by the end I was telling her she should be a model. She's got what it takes plus she has a killer personality....good luck with the future plans, Maggie!

Tessa and Ryan

Well, after Dan and Sarah's wedding I got to head down to San Luis Obispo for some engagements...yes, it was a busy day, but it was worth it. I love being in SLO especially when I get to use some of the unique features of the town. Tessa and Ryan were up for anything and were extremely flexible. Enjoy the show...

Dan and Sarah

I love shooting at new places...the thrill of finding the perfect spot or great lighting is fun because it keeps me on my toes. Saturday I got to do just that for Dan and Sara's wedding. They were married in a small church in Atascadero and had their reception on some family property.

I have to talk about the property. I loved it!!! Not only were there some amazing views, but there were also goats running around everywhere! I felt like I was on animal planet and loved every second of it. The couple and I got some great laughs at watching the bridesmaids walk up with their flowers...a.k.a. tasty treats for the goats to try to eat. There was also this awesome beat-up truck that became my favorite background. I love the contrast of a beautiful bride and groom with a rough truck behind them. Needless to say, I had fun...best of luck Dan and Sara!
