Youngberg Family: Avila Beach Family Photographer

There is nothing like the California beaches in the “winter” since the days are warm and the sun is shinning from sunrise to sunset. My sweet college roommate, Hannah, and her family visit the Coast often and I was luckily enough to steal one of their mornings for a playful shoot on the beach. I left with my heart glowing because Hannah and Travis truly are the best parents to their adorable little girls. I cherish the gift of freezing time for families and capturing the silly faces of the kiddos and endearing pride of the parents. I have loved watching these two girls grow throughout the years as I get the honor to capture their annual family portraits. Luckily for me, their trip to the area coincided with another shoot I already had at the beach and WOW was it a fun session! I often say my cheeks hurt from smiling back at my clients and this was definitely the case not only while taking the pictures but also while editing them too. I can hear their giggles and truly love the genuine smile of affection their parents have for them both. All in all, the Huffman crew is beyond adorable! xo

McDevitt Family: Paso Robles Family Photographer at Avila Beach

This group knew how to celebrate a wonderful mother/grandma since they had a few days away in San Luis Obispo and ended the birthday fun with a large family portrait session. Having a crew of littles, we had a combo of traditional “look at the camera and smile pictures'“ followed by candid playing at the beach. I think 3 out of the 4 kiddos fell in the water at some point but reaction from the parents was priceless and we kept laughing and going. Oh how I love seeing cousins chase waves and the authentic joy the beach brings for all ages!
